As a student worker, you will be required to complete the training courses listed on the table below through Keenan SafeColleges. The training will be completed during paid working hours. Please coordinate with your supervisor to schedule time to complete the training.

This course is designed to give a brief overview of the rise and nature of this new virus. Topics covered include symptoms and risk factors; what you can do to help reduce your changes of becoming infected; and where to find reliable news and information about the COVID-19 outbreak. |
Coronavirus Protocols for Returning to Work |

FERPA: Confidentiality of Records |

This course covers important legal terms related to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the general responsibilities of staff members under FERPA, FERPA's rules regarding confidentiality and disclosure, and the rights of students to access and inspect their own education records kept by the school. |

Sexual Harassment Prevention for Non-Managers (SB 1343) |

California is a leader in protecting employees against sexual discrimination and harassment, so it’s critical that employees understand the law regarding sexual harassment and know their role and obligations. This course is designed to provide California employees with a basic understanding of sexual harassment and strategies to maintain a harassment-free environment. Course topics include definitions of sexual harassment, what employers must provide in their anti-harassment policies, sexual harassment in the workplace and actions victims can take. |
