Dr. Avila is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction, and management of the college and all its departments, including the administration of the college's business activities and the operation of campus facilities. To assist in these duties, he delegates and assigns responsibilities to his senior staff members.

Dr. Orante is responsible for the administration of all Student Services at Gavilan College. This includes Admissions & Records, Financial Aid, Counseling, Student Success & Equity, and Student Support Programs.

Marilyn Morikang oversees college fiscal services, including budget and finance, and college operations, bond measure projects, technology, sustainability programs and emergency preparedness.
