Community Matters archive exists so that Gavilan College students can give back to the community with original research, oral history, and scholarship that helps the community better understand its history, define its challenges, and take advantage of its assets. The archive includes a comprehensive history of Gavilan College written by Gavilan College emeritus history professor Leah Halper.
