DUAL ENROLLMENT

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to the Gavilan College dual enrollment website! If you are a high school student, parent, or counselor, looking for opportunities-you're in the right place. Gavilan College offers pathways for students in grades 9–12 to earn college credit while still in high school, helping you get a head start on your college education and career goals.

Through Dual Enrollment, including CCAP and High Step courses, students can take advanced academic and career-technical courses right at their high school, at both the Gilroy and Hollister Gavilan College campuses, or online. Course offerings vary by semester and are coordinated in partnership with local high schools.

We are proud to support high school students throughout our district in preparing for college and career success. Congratulations on taking this important first step toward your future! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help.

What is Dual Enrollment?

Dual Enrollment gives high school students whose age or class level is equal to grades 9 - 12 the chance to earn college credits early. Classes are available on both the Gavilan College campuses in Gilroy and Hollister, online, and at your local high schools.
