Dear Gavilan Student,

Welcome to Gavilan College. We’re excited you’re joining our community, and we want to help you start the semester feeling prepared and supported.

Gav Ready is a free, in-person event for new students and students enrolled in introductory English and math courses. RSVP for two days in Gilroy or a single, compressed day in Hollister, you’ll learn strategies for success in math and English, meet counselors, get familiar with important college tools, explore financial aid and paying for college, connect with student support services, and take an optional campus tour.

You’ll also have time to ask questions, learn what to expect in your first semester, and build a plan to start strong. Check your Gavilan email and your texts for more information. Spots are limited, so sign up early!

Gilroy Event

Hollister Event

Date: Tuesday, August 11
Time: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Check-In: 8:30 AM, Community Room
