Basic Editing Tools

You’ll see your standard bold, italic, etc. But please use the Format menu to organize the sections of your page. Use a Heading 2, and/or Heading 3 to make headlines.

Here’s the more advanced tools:

 Insert, or change the settings of a picture. You’ll use this a lot.

 Media or embed code. You’ll use this if you want to embed a youtube video, Google calendar, etc.

 Highlight some words, click this to make them a link.

 Remove a link.

 Clean up messy html. This can be useful if you’re pasting text and it isn’t coming in right.

 Clear all formatting. Very handy for cleaning up someone else’s mess.

 Edit HTML. If you know what this means, you will know what to do.

 Make the editor fullscreen. I recommend doing this if you will be spending more than 1 minute editing.
