The Gavilan College Foundation exists to support Gavilan College students, programs, and priorities through charitable giving and community partnership. As a nonprofit organization, the Foundation raises and stewards private support to help students access education, overcome barriers, and achieve their goals.
Our Purpose
The Foundation supports Gavilan College by connecting donors with meaningful opportunities to invest in students and strengthen the college’s mission. Foundation support may help provide student scholarships, basic needs support, emergency student assistance, program and departmental support, faculty and staff initiatives, student success resources, and community and college priorities.
Why Private Support Matters
Public funding alone cannot meet every student need or every college opportunity. Private support helps close the gap. Donor generosity can help a student remain enrolled, pay for books, access food or transportation, complete a certificate, transfer to a university, or prepare for a meaningful career.
