Fall Semester August 2 - December 16, 2023
AVIATION FIRST DAY OF INSTRUCTION
Last day to register/add an Aviation class is Aug. 7 Last day to drop an Aviation class for a refund and “No Record Shown” is Aug. 15 The “W” deadline for an Aviation class is Friday, November 3.

FALL SEMESTER BEGINS
August 28
LABOR DAY HOLIDAY
No day, evening classes 9/4. Saturday/Sunday classes WILL meet on 9/2 and 9/3.
September 4
DEADLINE TO REGISTER/ADD A FULL SEMESTER COURSE
Unless class is open entry or late-start. Use Self-Service. All add codes must be used by Sept. 8.
September 8
LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR AN INDEPENDENT STUDY
September 8
“NRS” DEADLINE
"No Record Shown." Full semester courses dropped by this date do not appear on the student’s permanent record. The “NRS” deadline for short-term courses is <20% of the class meetings.
September 10
DEADLINE TO DROP WITH A REFUND
Fees will be refunded by check to student (regardless of original method of payment) when full semester courses are officially dropped by this date. Short-term courses must be dropped before 10% of the course meetings have passed. For one or two-day classes, this date will occur before the start of the course.

DEADLINE FOR SELECTING GRADING OPTION
Last day to select the Pass/No pass grade option for designated, full semester courses.
September 28
FALL GRADUATION PETITION DUE
See a counselor to complete a petition to graduate.
October 13
VETERANS' DAY HOLIDAY
No day, evening classes 11/10
November 10
"W" DEADLINE
Full semester courses dropped by this date appear on the student's permanent record with a notation of "W" for withdrawn. The "W" deadline for a short-term/extended term course is 75% of the course meetings.
November 17
THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY
No day, evening classes 11/23 & 11/24. Saturday/Sunday classes WILL meet on 11/25 and 11/26.
