Water Line Issue
Dear campus community,
Thank you for your patience and understanding today as we experienced two unexpected waterline breaks. We know this caused disruption, and we truly appreciate your flexibility.
As you may be aware, we're currently undertaking a critical project to replace our campus waterline. This is a vital upgrade, as our aging pipes have caused sudden breaks in the past, leading to campus closures. The construction crew has been working meticulously, but some of our old waterlines weren't properly documented in the campus plans, which led to the issues we faced today. The good news is that the crew acted quickly to restore water to campus.
Dealing with unexpected challenges like this is part of maintaining an older campus, but we're committed to investing in these necessary upgrades. We are confident that these improvements will enable our campus to thrive for many years to come, providing a more reliable and secure environment for everyone.
Thank you again for your patience.
Kind Regards,
Dr. Pedro Avila
