Gav 4 Free Keeps Rolling!
Dear Gavilan Community,
Awesome news alert! At our last board meeting, we got the green light to keep Gav 4 Free rolling for two MORE semesters!
This wouldn't be possible without such an incredible 39% increase in students applying for financial aid and securing free tuition through state Promise Grants. A huge shoutout to our rockstar Financial Aid Department and Welcome Center for their efforts in supporting students with their FAFSA applications!
Get ready to see some new marketing campaigns specifically designed to spread the word about Gav 4 Free for summer and fall 2024 – stay tuned!
Speaking of fantastic news, attached you'll find monthly reports from our Vice Presidents highlighting all the wonderful work happening across different areas of the college. These reports keep our board informed, and I encourage you to read them. I will be sharing these with our college community regularly. If you have projects or accomplishments in your classroom or department that you would like highlighted, don't hesitate to contact your VP – we'd love to shine a light on your achievements!
