The 2022 Commencement Ceremony will be held on May 27th at 3pm in Parking Lot H.

COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY PARTICIPATION
Only graduates and their guests that have submitted their reservation and have tickets will be allowed to participate in the Ceremony and admitted into the guest seating area.

Questions and Answers
Q: If I submit my Graduation Petition, am I automatically registered to attend the Commencement Ceremony?
A: Unfortunately, no. You must RSVP to participate. Only graduates that have RSVP's will be issued tickets.
Q: Will the number of guests I bring be limited?
A: Yes. Each graduate may bring up to six (6) guests each and will receive two (2) parking permits. Guests without tickets will not be permitted to enter the Ceremony seating area.
Q: I have a big family and they all want to see me graduate...what do I tell them?
A: The Commencement Ceremony will be live-streamed, so your family members may view the Ceremony as it happens live from any remote location with internet access.Graduation will be Livestreamed here: www.gavilan.edu/tv
Q: What happens if I submit my Graduation Petition after April 15th? Can I still RSVP for the Ceremony?
A: Yes, you may still participate in the Ceremony if you submit your Graduation Petition after April 15th. However, your name may not appear in the program.
Q: Will I or my family members need to be vaccinated to participate/attend the Ceremony?
A: No, vaccinations will not be required for graduates nor for family members/guests.
Q: Will masks be required for graduates or guests for the Ceremony?
A: While masks may be worn if an individual chooses, they will not be required.
