COVID - 19 Notice to Students
The Gavilan Career and Transfer Center is offering remote support via Zoom Video Conferencing and Telephone appointments in all aspects of the Career and Transfer process.
Visiting college and universities can be very helpful in exploring and deciding on potential transfer universities. Colleges and universities host preview days, open houses, and transfer information sessions, on their campus throughout the year, so take advantages of these events.
The Career & Transfer Center and Gavilan College's Child Development and Educational Studies is hosting a field trip for Future Educators to:

Whether you are applying to transfer there or this is your first year at Gavilan and you are thinking about transferring, this will be a great opportunity for you to learn more about their student life and tour their campus. There are 20 seats available on a first-come, basis.This trip is for Education Majors only.

Bus Trip sign - up procedure:
In order to reserve your seat, you need to do the following:
A. To sign - up for the trip bring your student ID and complete the waiver form to the Cashier Office in the Welcome Center. You must sign a waiver to attend the trip, for your convenience, the cashier will have a copy of the waiver for you.
However, there are 2 ways to pick up your waiver to bring to the cashier office:
(1) Career & Transfer Center (Library 139)-near the courtyard or Child Development and Educational Studies (CD 128)
(2) Cashier Office located in the Welcome Center
B. Submit a $10 deposit at the Cashier Office. The deposit money will be returned to you the morning of the field trip as you check-in to the bus.
