Biography
With a thirty years teaching career spanning three continents, I continue to enjoy and dedicate myself to being an Instructor here, at Gavilan College.
Born and raised in Moscow, Russia, I started my teaching career as an instructor at the Department of Applied Mathematics at Moscow State University of Oil and Gas, Russian leading educational institution for petroleum engineers. Before finally arriving at Gavilan College, I had a wonderful experience of teaching in numerous Universities both in Europe and United States. Now, with 16 years at Gavilan behind me, I continue teaching everything from Basic Math to Linear Algebra
with the same pleasure and conviction that I had in my very eariliest years
In addition to teaching, I enjoy to travel and interact with the amazing
different cultures throughout the globe.
Recently, I began flying aircraft, so I can further explore and develop a greater sense of the surrounding world.
