Accessible Education Center
The AEC at Gavilan College provides programs, services and support to help students with disabilities succeed in school.

CalWORKs Program
The CalWORKs Program is designed to serve students who are receiving or eligible to receive cash-aid (TANF) from your local county social services agency. Benefits include priority registration, book vouchers and more!
Gavilan College, we are committed to providing all students with the level of services and support they need. Learn if you qualify for AB 540 Status and EOPS as a central point for access to a full services available.
Foster Youth
At Gavilan College, we are committed to providing our Foster Youth with the level of services such as help you develop an academic, career, and personal plan that will help you achieve your lifelong goals.

Fresh Success Program
Fresh Success is a voluntary employment and training program serving students living in Santa Clara or San Benito County, and are receiving or eligible to receive CalFresh (SNAP) benefits.
Higher Aspirations Program
Higher Aspirations Initiative is a new program designed for and together with students and staff affected by incarceration and is geared toward the successful entry and completion of Formerly Incarcerated adults.

Homeless and Housing Insecure program
Supports students who are facing housing insecurities. The HHIP Program is here to support you while you complete your academic and career goals during difficult times.
Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Achievement Program (MESA)
Support for disadvantaged students in math, engineering and science MESA Services such as priority registration, guidance to transfer to a 4-year college, calculator and laptop loan programs, internship opportunities and more!

Puente Program
If you are interested, fill out the interest form. Once you enroll in the Puente program, you will work closely with your Counselor, English Instructor, and Mentor to prepare for transfer to a four-year college or university.
Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM)
Have you ever thought of pursuing a career in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math? The STEM Academy offers support with a counselor, textbook and tech equipment lending library, stipend, scholarships and more!

Veterans Resource Center
The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) at Gavilan College provides a warm and welcoming place for veterans to connect with one another and learn about available campus services.

The Office of Student Life oversees the Peer Mentor program whose mission is to assist all students reach their academic goals. The Office of Student Life and the ASGC plan, develop, implement, and manage student focused events and activities which are delivered to all students, staff, faculty, and administration in an effort to engage students that will foster and enrich college life and the community.
