CSIS 6 WebPage Authoring I
A beginning introduction to using Hypertext Mark-Up Language (HTML) to create web pages which can be uploaded and displayed on the World Wide Web. Students will use HTML to create web pages with text in various sizes and colors, links to other sites, background color or patterns, graphics, tables and mailto links. Principles of design and color as they apply to screen presentations will be included. This course has the option of a letter grade or credit/no credit. May be repeated three times for credit. Also listed as LIB 6.
 
Advisory: CSIS 1 or or CSIS 2 or CSIS 3/LIB 3 advised.

This introductory course for word processing with Windows is designed for business and non-business majors. Students will develop word processing skills to create a document, select and edit text, move and copy text, use the spelling, grammar, and thesaurus features, format text, and create headers, footnotes for a research paper. This course has the option of a letter grade or credit/no credit and may be repeated one time for credit.
 
Advisory: Eligible for English 260 and basic keyboarding skills.
