Getting a Log-in Number
Visit the schedule desk and reference the schedule book to identify compatible appointment hours. Our desk clerks are available to assist you. Once compatible hours are identified, or to request that other hours get put onto the schedule, complete a Guidance 250 form. (What is a Guidance 250 form?) Our desk clerk will assist you in adding yourself to the log-in computers. You will be given a course specific log-in number to be used every time you access tutoring services. NOTE: If you are receiving tutoring for more than one subject you will have more than one log-in number. (Why do I have to Log-in?)
Daytime by Appointment
(Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm)
Appointments are made for all day time tutoring between 8am and 4pm. An appointment slip will be made for you by the desk clerk. On this slip you will find your tutor's name, subject being tutored, log-in number and the day/date/time of your appointment. Please arrive on time to your appointment. Check-in with the desk clerk, log-in on the appropriate computer with the appropriate log-in number and bring all necessary materials needed for your class (i.e. syllabus/green sheet, text books, notes etc.) NOTE: Tutoring sessions are 50 minutes in length. If you find you cannot make it to your appointment, please call as soon as possible to inform us of your cancellation;
(408) 848-4838. We can then assist in rescheduling for a different date/time
Evening Drop-in hours
(Monday-Thursday, 5:00pm-7:45pm)
Evening drop-in tutoring for select subjects is available for your convenience. Please consult the Evening Schedule to confirm what tutors are available on what days for your subject. Log-in on the appropriate computer with an EVENING TUTORING log-in number. Bring all necessary materials needed for your class (i.e. syllabus/green sheet, text books, notes etc.) NOTE: Due to illness/unforeseen circumstances, the evening schedule may be temporarily altered. Please feel free to call ahead to verify coverage of the subject you need; (408) 848-4838.
