UPDATES
Multimedia Classrooms: Fran discussed the Multimedia Classroom prioritization list. She stated that ART 101 will be done through Title V funding. ART 101 got a new projection screen and the control center has been fixed. They are reconsidering whether they can still do SS 214 because additional air conditioning funds may have to come from Title V. The committee reprioritized the list and Fran will send out the new one.
Tech Plan: The TAC committee met several times during the break and put together the draft that was distributed to the Tech Committee for their review at this meeting. We discussed the format, funding sources, cost and references for each of the initiatives. Committee members agreed to take the initiatives and research the missing parts and prioritize the items from within each section. Changes will be due to Jane Maringer by February 18th. The TAC committee will meet on Thursday, February 20, 2003 at 2pm in the Staff Resource Center. Everyone is welcome.
Online Support / Distance Education: Jen Ferro stated that Gavilan College bought into the Etudes Course Management Software through Foothill College. Jen & JoAnne will be taking the training and will be available to assist faculty members to switch over their courses from WebCT. For more information, visit the Etudes websites below:

New Meeting Schedule: The committee decided to schedule the Technology Meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 2pm in Art 103. The meetings will be on February 25, March 11, March 25, April 8, April 22, May 13 and May 27.
