5. CMAP Location-Phillips

Tim showed a presentation on some potential moves to give CMAP a home. After lots of discussion, the Tech Committee didn't want to make any endorsement for a certain plan because they felt that they needed more information and they had some concerns. The time factor for CMAP is urgent and they need a place right now that is permanent or it will cost Gavilan to move them a second time. It was suggested that we look at the proposed CMAP areas first and hold off the MIS/DSPS moves for further discussion. Tim continues to present the proposals to all involved parties on campus, so if you have any suggestions please give them to Tim as soon as possible.

6. Featured Presentation: Tim Phillips-Gavilan Community College Management Information System (MIS); A Comprehensive PowerPoint Presentation on the State of Technology at Gavilan.

Due to time constraints, Tim's presentation on MIS and Technology at Gavilan is tabled for Staff Development Day. Look for more information from Fran Lozano about time and place.
