Gavilan College Just in Time Mobile Food Pantry
Just In Time Mobile Food Pantry is an on-campus monthly grocery-style food distribution program for students, staff, and members of the surrounding Gavilan college community whom are experiencing food insecurity. The program offers a wide selection of foods including fresh produce, dairy items and more. Please note that some items may require refrigeration shortly after pick up.
Needs this semester: Students in Dr. Chap's Social Problems class will divide into four groups. One will take the February distribution, one the March, one the April, and one the May. Who should apply: Any reliable, motivated student who likes working with others, and is comfortable with a variety of people. Employees at this office are very busy providing valuable services. Please respect their time by making appointments, coming on time, keeping your business brief, and calling ahead if you have an emergency that prevents you from coming on time.
Who should not apply: No drug/alcohol use. Students who can't work somewhat independently would not be able to fulfill the needs at this site.
