Kevin is currently in his 10th year as an Instructor and the Head Indoor Women's Volleyball Coach for the Gavilan College Rams. In his first year in 2007, Kevin helped lead the Rams to its first winning season (12-9) since the program was reinstated in 2005, and a third place finish in the Coast Conference. In year two, the Rams improved to 16-11 and third in the Coast Conference. In 2016, the Ramís Volleyball program ended the season with a 23-7 overall record, its 4th Coast Conference Championship, the programís first ever trip to the CCCAA State Championships and a season ending rank of 6th in the state of California. This spring, Kevin will also lead Gavilan's newest sport, Beach Volleyball into the 3rd year of existence. In spring of 2016, the Ramís Beach program qualified for the NorCal Championships and sent four of its players to the CCCAA State Beach Championships. Previous to coaching and teaching at Gavilan College, Kevin served as the Head Coach at Canada College in Redwood City for two years, leading them to a 30-9 overall record and their first ever playoff appearance in 2006. He also spent three years as an Assistant Coach at Chabot College from 2002-2004. Kevin came to Gavilan after spending five years as a Physical Education and Psychology teacher at Mt. Eden High School in Hayward, CA. Kevin resides in Dublin, CA with his wife Lindsay, daughter Kierra, and son Colton.
