How It Happened
The visiting Rams jumped on the home team Rams early when they score of a single in the top of the 1st inning. That run was quickly answered with four runs of their own highlighted by an RBI single by Jacob Baker, and a 2 RBI single by Nathan Aguayo. The break out inning came in the bottom of the 4th for Gavilan as 9 runs crossed the plate. Baker had another 2 RBI at bat this time hitting a double, not to be out done was Robert Najar who had a 2 RBI double of his own.
An inning later, Benjamin Prentiss went yard on the opposing pitcher, which was good for 3 RBI’s. Ernesto Fernandez-Delgado started for the Rams and pitched 4 innings giving up 2 runs on 2 hits. Five other Rams took to the mound highlighted by Brian Cosimano who threw an inning and a third of 1 hit, 2 strike outs to finish off the visiting Rams of City.
