Student Athletes of the Month

Gavilan’s Student-Athletes of the Month are Elias Arvizn (Soccer), Lex Chavarria (Volleyball), Richard Justo (Football), Julia Rodriguez (Women’s Basketball) and Ibn Zaid (Men’s Basketball).

Throughout the academic year, the Rams Athletic Department will recognize the achievements of its student-athletes on and off the field of competition by honoring them with the Togo’s Student-Athlete of the Month Award. Special attention is focused on four main areas: academic achievement, athletic success, leadership, and community service. This monthly award embodies the spirit of Rams Athletics and Gavilan College. At the end of the year, those that have been recognized as student-athletes of the month will be considered for the prestigious Male and Female Togo’s Student-Athlete of the Year Award.
