VA Medical Van and the Mobile Vet Center

VA Mobile Medical Van - The MMV has space for veteran interviews including filling out enrollment paper work, and taking BP and other vital signs. It also includes one medical consultation room.
Services Provided
- Enrollment in the VA Health Care System including personal assistance completing paperwork
*all veterans who are enrolling need to bring a copy of their DD-214
- Medical visit with Physician or Nurse Practitioner
- BP checks
- Pulse oximetry (check oxygen level)
- Appointment scheduling for VA clinics
- Prescription refills (and new prescriptions for any problem evaluated during visit with physician)
- Referrals for any specialist in the VA system
- Referrals for x-rays and other radiology tests
- Orders for blood tests (cholesterol, glucose, etc.)
- Vaccines during the Fall (October, November): Flu, pneumonia, teta
- Health Education
VA Mobile Vet Center - The MVC provides a broad range of counseling, outreach and referral services, to help veterans and their families successfully make post-war readjustments to civilian life. Private counseling space is provided.

- Benefits counseling
- Social and economic post-war needs counseling
- Sexual trauma referral services
- Marriage and family counseling
- Medical referrals
- Employment counseling, guidance and referrals
- Community Education
