Gavilan College's Puente Program Hosting Benefit Mariachi Concert for the Salvation Army

What:  The Gavilan College Puente Program has planned a benefit concert to collect toys for the Salvation Army.  Mariachi Juvenil Alma de Mexico will be playing in the Gavilan College Student Center on Friday, December 17th, where the price of admission will be a new toy + a $5.00 donation!   

Who:  Mariachi Juvenil Alma de Mexico is a professional Mariachi band that blends the passionate melodies of the traditional folkloric music, with youthful energy and excitement.  With a vast repertoire that encompasses the past and the present, Mariachi Alma de Mexico has become a favorite of many mariachi fans.

The Gavilan College Puente Program is open to all students, and helps prepare them to transfer to four-year colleges and universities.

Where:  The Gavilan College Student Center located on Gavilan's Main Campus at 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd., Gilroy, 95020.

When:  Friday, December 17th at 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Cost:  A new toy + $5.00 at the door.

Why:  Donations to the Salvation Army provide Christmas dinners, clothing, and toys for families in need.  Financial assistance also helps with basic necessities, along with seasonal aid.  For more ways to help the Salvation Army, please visit www.salvationarmyusa.org .
