WHO: Business owners, employers and employees of local businesses
WHAT: Can attend a series of free workshops to acquire skills in digital media. Create advertising or training materials, produce a video, design a poster or create a walk-through slideshow. Work on any project you have in mind, -- a newsletter you have been wanting to incorporate into your business, or knowing how to correctly and efficiently display photos on a website.
WHEN: Four Saturdays: March 6, 13, 20 , 27

WHERE: Digital Media Lab, Library 128 on the Gavilan College Gilroy campus, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd.
WHY: The workshop is sponsored by the Institute for Digital Media Entertainment (IDME), designed for local businesses to help them gain and improve Digital Media skills through work on business-related projects. Participants will have access to instructors, tutors, online instructional video, and suggested readings.

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER: Saturday, March 6, Dusty Nelson of DNelson Pictures will present on "creative tips for producing commercials for TV and the web." He has directed and shot commercials for Subaru, Lexus, VW, Ford Mustang, and non-automotive companies in addition to writing and directing short films.
