WHO: The young S.T.A.R. actors in the new Morgan Hill STAR production of "Give my Regards to Broadway."
WHAT: Will hold performances of the first S.T.A.R. play produced in Morgan Hill. "Give my Regards To Broadway" is a musical by Shubert Fendrich with music and lyrics by George M. Cohan. It is a Broadway musical about producing a Broadway musical, featuring some of George M. Cohan's most memorable tunes: "Give My Regards To Broadway," "You're a Grand Old Flag," and more. The play is directed by Julianne Palma
S.T.A.R. is a summer program that allows young people ages 8 -15 to explore the performing arts in the production and performance of a musical. The program has been held at the Gilroy campus for many years: 2003 is the first year the S.T.A.R. program has been offered in Morgan Hill.
This event is open to the public.
Ticket prices are:
Adults: $11.00
Students and Seniors: $9.00
Children under 12: $8.00
WHEN: Friday, Aug. 1st at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 2nd, 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
WHERE: Performed in the charming and newly renovated Morgan Hill Playhouse, adjacent to the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center.
