WHO: The Gavilan College Career and Transfer Center
WHAT: Invites people to explore new careers and meet employers at
Career Day, an annual information fair at Gavilan College. This event,
which is held each spring, hosts more than 45 organizations and
businesses which provide information on occupations and careers to
students and community members. Exhibitors representing such diverse
fields as cosmetology, health, business, engineering, law enforcement,
retail, community services, and others, will be on hand to explain
different career options, and the training and education required for
each. Job-seekers should bring resumes, as some organizations will be
hiring. This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. On-campus parking is
$.75.
WHEN: Wednesday, April 30, 2003. 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
WHERE: Student Center, Gavilan College Gilroy Campus, 5055 Santa Teresa
