SAN JOSE, CA - The South Bay Regional Public Safety Training Consortium (POST) has announced the appointment Greg Giusiana to the position of Academy Director. As Academy Director, Giusiana will be responsible for all four South Bay POST Academies: at Gavilan College, Evergreen College, Monterey Peninsula College, and San Mateo College. The mission of The Academy is to meet the educational and training needs of public safety students within the areas represented by the participating community college districts.
In a letter, Steve Cushing, Executive Director of South Bay POST said " Gregg is an outstanding addition to the very strong team of professionals that have joined the Academy in the past two years."
Giusiana recently completed ten years of service as Police Chief in Gilroy, CA. He holds a Masters' Degree. and has served on two of South Bay POST's advisory board
