Too Old to Surf? No Way!

WHO: Adults 55+

WHAT: Are invited to take a FREE class in intermediate internet use. Morgan Hill resident Gloria Curtis, reference librarian at Gavilan College
explains "this course is designed to teach people who are somewhat familiar with computers and the Internet." The course proceeds at a moderate
pace and focuses on content and skills of particular interest to seniors. "It may sound a bit intimidating," observes Curtis, "but believe me, I know from experience that
by the end of the course, students will know how to find reliable health information, access blogs and wikis and much more. This is a non-credit course.
We simply have fun. Think how great it will sound when you explain that you learned to surf in Morgan Hill."

WHEN: It meets from 9:30 -11:30 AM each Thursday from February 5 to May 22. (The class met on January 31, but it is not too late to join.)

WHERE: Gavilan College Morgan Hill, 17060 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill

HOW: For more information contact the Morgan Hill campus at 782-2873 or the instructor at gcurtis@gavilan.edu. Students are welcome to "just show up" and register in class.
