"High on Health" will focus on fitness

WHO: Gavilan Community College, sponsored by Student Health Services and the Associated Student Body

WHAT: Presents the annual Health Fair. This free event, open to the entire community, will provide free blood pressure screening, and free glucose testing for diabetes, as well as an opportunity to become a member of National Marrow Registry. The Health Fair regularly draws over 1500 visitors. This year's Health Fair will focus on fitness and wellness, with information on things people can do to take care of themselves physically and emotionally.

Exhibitors include: First 5 Kids, Costco, the Community Breast Health Project, Breathe California, Santa Clara County Social Services, South County Mental Health, Ultimate Health Chiropractic, Gavilan College Physical Education, San Benito County Perinatal Service, Santa Clara County Nutrition, and many others.

WHEN: Wednesday, October 4th from 9 am to 1pm

WHERE: in the Student Center, Gilroy campus, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd.
