457 Gavilan College students earned a place on either the Deans' List or President's Honor Roll for Spring Semester 2005.
To be placed on the President's Honor roll, a student must earn a 3.5 or higher grade point average in at least 15 units during a single semester. To qualify for the Deans' List, students must maintain a 3.0 grade point average with at least 12 units for the semester. Both honors are noted on student transcripts.
The lists of students, sorted by city of residence, are attached. In addition to the Gavilan Joint Community College District communities of Morgan Hill, Gilroy, San Juan Bautista, San Martin, Hollister, Aromas, Tres Pinos, and San Jose, cities represented include Ben Lomond, Capitola, Castroville, Dos Palos, Folsom, Gustine, Hayward, King City, Los Altos, Los Banos, Los Gatos, Marina, Milpitas, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Palo Alto, Prunedale, Sacramento, Salinas, Santa Cruz, Seaside, Soledad, Soquel, Sunnyvale, and Watsonville.
