The Gavilan College Community Education department will offer the following classes in October:
• Excel - Intermediate will be offered on Saturday, October 1, 2005 from 9:00am -3:30pm at the Gavilan College Main Campus in Gilroy in room BU111. The class fee is $95.00. The class will be taught by Betsy Pollick.

• Getting Started in Digital Photography will be offered on Saturday, October 22, 2005 from 9:00am - 12:00pm at the Gavilan College Main Campus in Gilroy in room LI171. The class fee is $55.00. A required $5.00 workbook fee is payable in class to the instructor. The class will be taught by Parry Shoemaker.
• Getting More from Your Digital Camera will be offered on Saturday, October 22, 2005 from 1:00 - 5:00pm at the Gavilan College Main Campus in Gilroy in room LI171. The class fee is $65.00. A required $7.00 workbook fee is payable in class to the instructor. The class will be taught by Parry Shoemaker.

• Beginning Quilting will be offered on Wednesdays, October 19, 2005 - November 16, 2005 from 6:30 - 9:00pm at the Gavilan College Campus in Morgan Hill in room MHG3. A portable sewing machine is required. The class fee is $55.00. A required $14.00 book fee is payable in class to the instructor. The class will be taught by Laurie M. Perez.
