WHO: Local musicians and Gavilan College music faculty: John Garcia, Dave Porcella, Nate Pruitt with Primary Colors, Maria Amirkhanian, Art Juncker, Sandra Marlowe, Albert Marques, Tomas Montoya, and the South Valley Symphony String Quartet
WHAT: Will perform in the 2005 benefit concert Bach to Blues , bringing a range of music from Bach...to Blues! The concert will include the musical genres of flamenco, blues, swing, jazz, mariachi, Cuban and South American Music, and opera. The evening will start out with a preshow outside the theater, and will include a chance to mingle and enjoy refreshments or purchase CD's of the artists' work.

V.I.P. seating (which includes a limited edition Bach to Blues mousepad) is $25. General admission seating is $15, senior tickets are $10, and students $10. Advance ticket purchase is recommended.

WHY: Bach to Blues will celebrate music, and the musical talent in our community. Funds raised from ticket sales will support music education and equipment for the Gavilan College music department. Bach to Blues is presented through a partnership between Gavilan College and the South Valley Symphony. Sponsors include Carnes Piano and Organ and Maggie Romo.
