SUBJECT: Ratification of Master Planning and Property Development Contracts with BFGC Architects Planners, Inc.

Proposal:

That the Board of Trustees ratifiy a Master Planning Contract and a Property Development Contract with BFGC Architects Planners, Inc.

Background:

At the September 12, 2004 Board meeting, the Board authorized the District’s Administration to negotiate a professional services contract with BFGC Architects Planners, Inc. for master planning and property development services in the implementation of the District’s Facility Master Plan including Measure E facility projects.

After a number of meetings concerning the scope of services, the cost of those services, and the timeline for the various stages of the project implementation, the District Administration and representatives from BFGC Architects Planners, Inc. have agreed to the attached two (2) contracts.

Budgetary Implications:

The cost of these agreements will be paid out of the proceeds of Measure E funds.

Follow Up/Outcome:

Continue to implement the District’s Facility Master Plan including Measure E facility projects.
