Proposal:
That the Board of Trustees review the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purchase of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. |

Background:
Measure E contained $3.5 million dollars to "Replace obsolete computer system with an integrated student registration, class scheduling and accounting system". To this end the Administration, working with the District Technology Committee, has completed a lengthily needs assessment and is now in the process of selecting a vendor to provide an integrated ERP system to replace the current systems. Attached is a portion of the RFP for Board review. A copy of the entire RFP ( 61 pages ) is available upon request. The RFP has been reviewed by the District’s legal counsel, advertised in both the local and regional newspapers, and disseminated starting on September 2, 2005 to over 30 interested parties.
