I was first introduced to ceramics as a junior at San Benito High School.  I fell in love instantly.  It was a year of learning and fun.  I went away to college and looked into taking a ceramics classbut could never fit it into my schedule. 

After graduating, I found a night class at San Diego City Community College.  There I learned more and had even more fun.  Then I moved back to Hollister and immediately signed up for ceramics at Gavilan and have been here ever since.  In addition to improving my basic skills, I am trying to connect my interest in geography and ceramics.
