Ceramics Instructor
Dancing with fire has been a passion of mine for over 25 years. I've been playing in clay nearly my whole life, but did not formally study clay until I reached my mid-twenties. I began my undergraduate studies at Monterey Community College and went on to earn a BA in Studio Art at University of California Davis. Later I did advanced studies at Rhode Island School of Design and University of Massachusetts, North Dartmouth.
After teaching general art for a few years, I thought I should learn how to fire a kiln. I took a class at a community college and was hooked. The direction of my most recent work has been in the area of figurative vessels.
