Transfer Day November 7, 2019 11:00 am - 2:00 pm Student Center
What: The Gavilan College Career / Transfer Center is hosting its annual College Transfer Day at the Gilroy main campus. This event is held every fall and will welcome 40 college and university representatives. Students will be provided with all the information they need to transfer to a four year institution.
Representatives will provide information on admission requirements, major preparation, housing, financial aid, scholarships, and will answer any questions. Current and prospective college students are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about each institution. Services that will be provided include assistance with the CSU/UC admissions application process, financial aid, scholarship information, transfer pathways and a variety of resources. Students will also have a chance to learn more about the California Community College Transfer Guarantee to Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Who: Some of the four year institutions that will be participating are UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Merced, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, CSU Chico, CSU East Bay, CSU Monterey Bay, CSU Stanislaus, Humboldt State University, Sacramento State University, San Francisco State University, San Jose State University, Lincoln Law of San Jose, Notre Dame de Namur University, National University, Palo Alto University, Samuel Merritt University, Sierra Nevada College, Stanford University School of Medicine, University of Idaho, University of Nevada Reno, University of Phoenix, Westmont College, William Jessup University, and more.
