Hollister Hollister's official website doesn't have much information, but there is a walking tour of the Calaveras Fault in Hollister, and information about the San Benito County Fair. Here is a short History of San Benito County and some population facts. Hollister's two newspapers are the Pinnacle and the Free Lance. In San Benito County, you can also visit Pinnacles National Monument and learn about its history. The California state gem is Benitoite, found only in San Benito County. 
Monterey Here is some history, a little more history, and some facts about the Monterey Peninsula. Three important attractions in this area are the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Secret Gardens of Old Monterey, and the Mission, in nearby Carmel.

Oakland  The official website of Oakland includes information about features of Oakland,  local sports, and area museums. Here are some attractions and information about  Jack London Square, the Port of Oakland, and the famous Paramount Theater. You can even take a walking tour of Oakland.
Palo Alto Palo Alto has a lot of attractions, including Stanford University. Click here for a tour. Stanford is also the home of the famous linear accelerator, which has helped many scientists. The famous Hewlett-Packardelectronics company started in this garage in Palo Alto--the birthplace of Silicon Valley. San Francisco You can start with some San Francisco facts and historical information. Salinas Here are some facts and history about Salinas and Oldtown Salinas. This site has a variety of information about the city, and here are some local attractions. Salinas is home to the famous California Rodeo, the Steinbeck Center, and Hartnell College is also located in Salinas.
San Juan Bautista This is San Juan Bautista's official website. Here are some details and the history of Mission San Juan Bautista and more information about the Mission, which is part of the San Juan Bautista State Park. Here are a few pictures. San Jose Here is a website is about San Jose. San Jose has many attractions, including parks, Great America, the Mexican Heritage Plaza, Japantown, and a popular flea market. San Jose has an interesting history and a nearby mission, the fourteenthin California. 
San Martin TheSan Martin Homepage, has links to livery stables, the farmers' market, Main Street businesses, schools, and so on. In San Martin you will also find an air museum and an animal shelter.
