This class is completely online, although there will be several face-to-face sessions available for extra help. Class starts on Wednesday, January 30th, and ends on Tuesday, April 1st, 2008. A late-start session will begin on March 31st.

You will not be able to log in until Wednesday, January 30th.

To create your user i.d., use your entire last name plus the last four digits of your social security number. (No spaces and no capital letters)

Use 'changeme' for your password.

Description: HTML and XHTML source coding needed to create web pages. Discussion of copyright and universal accessability issues, plus design and color concepts.
Objectives: By the end of the course, students will be able to use HTML and XHTML to create web pages which can be uploaded and displayed on the World Wide Web. They will also be aware of universal accessibility issues, copyright issues, and principles of design and color as they apply to screen presentations.
Course Requirements:

Students will satisfactorily complete:

  • practice worksheets
  • discussion board postings
  • a final quiz
  • a final website project
