Welcome Center

The Welcome Center is designed to assist students with general information on campus services and provide support for Admissions & Records, Financial Aid, and Counseling Departments. Equipped with computer stations and printer, the Welcome Center is staffed by Peer Mentors who assist students and others as they arrive in the Student Center Student Services area. Peer Mentors direct students to appropriate resources, provide guidance in setting up and using MyGav portal to add/drop courses, purchase parking permits online, pay account balances, and use financial aid section of MyGav. Students may make online appointments for Assessment/Placement, as well as file Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in the Welcome Center.
