Who is a Developmentally Delayed Learner?
A student who exhibits below average intellectual functioning and a potential
for measurable achievement in instructional or employment settings.
Who is Eligible for CareerPrep?
This program is offered to the high school special education class graduate
or equivalent who has a developmental disability and requests additional
education and pre-vocational skills development necessary for job placement
(or for entry level employment).
Award of Achievement Requirements
There are seven courses per semester. Each course is worth three points totalling
21 points per semester. Completion of all courses will qualify students to
receive the CareerPrep Certificate of Completion.
