Online counseling is available to anyone with internet and email access who is a prospective or current student at Gavilan College. Although a counselor can respond to your questions within two business days, you may want to first check the Frequently Asked Questions link because you may find the information you are seeking.
You may also want to check the Academic and the Student Services Department homepages for specific information regarding programs - you may find the answers to your questions quickly.

Students who wish to have an educational plan created, transcripts evaluated, confirm graduation status, or obtain transfer eligibility status must schedule an appointment to meet with a counselor in person. You must obtain your placement test scores, review grades, or discuss issues that require on-going discussion in person.
Personal counseling services are not available through this site, please review our resource page for local and web services.
Please be advised that the counselor retains the right to determine whether your concerns, issues, and or questions can be adequately addressed online; if necessary, the counselor may require an in-person, face-to-face appointment.
This web site is not secured or encrypted and therefore using this service you will waive your rights to privacy.
