GO RAMS!!
As the Athletic Academic Counselor at Gavilan College, I am available for various needs and issues devoted to the Student-Athlete experience. Athletic participation at the community college level comes with many rules, regulations, and time-lines that must be understood for our student-athletes to be successful on and off the field of play. Whether you are planning to transfer and compete at the next level (NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA) or fulfilling units for an AA/AS Degree at Gavilan College, I can help you realize your goals.
I, too, was a Student-Athlete throughout all 4 years of my undergraduate education. I realize the dedication, commitment, and perseverance, as well as the pressure, placed on successful performance in your sport and in the classroom. The knowledge I have gained through my personal experience and my continual education process in counseling Student-Athletes has given me a unique perspective in helping this population reach the next level.
In addition to Athletic Academic Counseling, I also teach PE1: Orientation for Student-Athlete Success. Please feel free to come by my office in the PE Building or call to make an appointment (408)848-4880. |
