PEDAGOGY PHILOSOPHY: My teaching philosophy is at the heart of my approach to whatever class I have the privilege and honor to teach. I do all I can to sensitively challenge students to meet their goals in a genuinely caring and positively reinforcing environment. My strategy is experiential by having students up on their feet speaking to their class as often as possible. In doing so, the goals of the institution for which I am working and my goals for their experience will be fulfilled. I also do all I can to take theory and curriculum and make them as relevant and practical as possible to students' current personal and professional lives and foundations for their future communication needs. Finally, I do all I can to create an education experience which results in students' comments that include the following:
"That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!"
"I really learned something!" Sensitive, relevant, student and client focused, practically applied and impactful communication has been and continues to be at the heart of my education and executive management careers.
