Bryan Higuchi (the first student to earn the Gavilan College Certificate of Achievement) states, "The Communication classes I took at Gavilan College helped me to come out of my shell and be a better speaker. I'm confident after completing the certificate." Bryan is in the process of transferring to the University of Hawaii, Hilo, to major in Communication Studies with a minor in Business Administration. We wish him the best of luck as he pursues his degree.
