This program is structured to offer students experiences in a variety of computer drawing and design application areas. This is made possible by the use and application of computers and types of software programs.

Software programmers are constantly striving to design programs that can do more complex tasks and remove the artificial barriers of a specific application. The areas of product design, engineering, technical art, animation, graphic design, video, sound and publishing are merging under a single program.

This is a nontraditional comprehensive graphics program for students with individual needs and goals, who would like to participate in the development and control of their educational process. The main purpose of the CGD program is to offer training and education to students in a cooperative interactive environment in the various areas of computer graphics. The student has the choice of working individually or in a cooperative educational environment.

If the student has access to a computer off site, his/her learning curve is greater in speed and comprehension. In addition access to the Internet will connect the student to the teacher and other students in the program. This structure is designed to take into account "spikes" (actions not planned for) in each day, allowing for a student to manipulate their daily/weekly time allocation to complete their class work.
