Our professional and caring staff provide a quality, developmentally appropriate NAEYC accredited program that meets the needs of culturally diverse families, students, staff, faculty and community members in a safe environment.

Philosophy

Gavilan College Child Development Center provides a safe, loving, secure environment that fosters each child's unique cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development within a well-planned environment. Our program strives to meet both age and developmentally appropriate practices. We believe that children learn by doing and experience hands on learning. We aim to extend and build upon the child's knowledge and also support the children in building strong supportive relationships.

The Child Development Center is NAEYC Accredited and our highly trained staff are all CPR/First Aid certified.
