A.A. Degree
Program Learning Outcomes: After completing this major a student will be able to:
- critique and evaluate the performance and execution of artistic endeavors in art, theatre and music.
- use music specific to the creation of art, music and theatre arts.
Students transferring to a four-year institution will be prepared for additional study in the following areas:

Fine Arts, General A.A. Degree
Program Learning Outcomes: After completing this degree a student will be able to:

Activity Courses:
In addition to completing the core courses, an emphasis in Art, Music or Theatre must be completed with a minimum of 4 units of activity courses in that area. Electives from the other Fine Arts areas should be taken to complete the 22 units.
Studio Art Courses - 2 units (minimum)
ART 2A or 2B, 3A, 5A, 8A, 10A, 13, 15A, 16A, 25, 34A
Music Performance Courses - 2 units (minimum)
MUS 3A, 4A, 8A, 9A
Theatre Performance Courses - 2 units (minimum)
THEA 2A, or 2B, 10, 11, 13A
ART 1A Art History 3 units
MUS 1A Music History and Literature 3 units
THEA 1A Theatre History 3 units
Choose 9 units:

Recommended Electives: ANTH 3, CSIS 1 or 2, any English Literature, HIST 7, any Journalism
