Community College AMT program is an FAA approved course designed for hands-on
Aviation maintenance training. We are located at the Hollister California
municipal airport, home to world record air race teams, an exciting part of
the Aviation Technician world. The courses start every Spring and Fall. The
General and Airframe portions of the curriculum run concurrently for one year
and the Powerplant singly for one year. An unheard of price of under $1000.00
for the entire program (4 semesters) is a steal. Financial aid and grants
may be available through our financial aid office, and the course is Veteran
approved. We offer help in employment placement after graduation and have
arrangements for a number of internships or apprenticeships during the Summer.
Special deals for enrolled students on hand tools from the local Snap-On
dealer are a bonus. The College offers detailed registration information
over the Internet. For students continuing their education, the College also
provides for easy transfer of units to San Jose State University Aeronautics
program and other Universities.
